about
This song means a lot to me, it taught me a lot. It was one of the first songs I tried to write completely by myself. It is pretty old, and that is ok. I still want to crawl through my skin when I hear it. This song is kind of like scraping concrete with your finger nails, while itching for something more.
It was originally going to be called Grave Turner. I had this idea of a giant worm that spun trough the earth and fed on coffins. I changed it to Aphelion for a couple of reasons. Mainly, because I feel the furthest away from everything, including the Son.
An assembly line of crushing doom, blistering death-rock, and misery-laden black-metal, powered by a one-man torture machine. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 30, 2018
